Tell about one of your fondest childhood memories.

 Hi everyone!!
Today, I'm going to talk about one of my fondest childhood memories.

 When I was 5 years old, I had a good memory with my friend who is from Greece.
Her name is Noriko which means Japanese name, but she is from Greece.
Noriko's father is Greek and her mother is Japanese.
My mother and Noriko's mother are friend, so she visited in Japan and then she staid my home about 1 week.
It was first time to make foreigner friend in my life, but I didn't think about carefully about  Noriko is not Japanese because she can speak Japanese very well.
At that time, I thought she was also Japanese, but she had light  hair color and  big eyes. lol
She came to Japan in summer vacation, so we went many places and shared a lot of time with her.

 First, we went to the sea and played sports, ate Kakigori, Ykisoba, ftankfruts, and watermelon there.
It was soooo fun!!!! I liked to go to the sea when I was child, I really enjoyed it :)))
After we played the sea, we become very tired (>0<) Because we didn't take a rest any times lol
Our body was red because of sun shine :(  When I see the picture which we took at the saw, I remind her.

 Next, we went a big park with my family. There are  long slide, sandbox, swing, climbing frame.
Noriko played it first time, so she was scared a little. But after a few min, she enjoyed it!!!
She was really active to play everything, and it was different between Japan and Greece, so she couldn't think about another thing lol
I was tired a little bit, so I took a rest, but she invited me to play more!!!!
I couldn't say "NO!" so I played with her whole day at tha park.
My parents took a lot of picture of us ;D But, my face wasn't smile lol

 Finlay, we cried a lot because we didn't want to say goodbye each other.
We knew that we won't meet again near future.
So we were soooo sad. My mother gave us same toys which were cute dog.
It is very important thing in mu life and I will never forget her!!!!

 I haven't seen her for 15 years. I miss her soooo much!!!!
On January, Noriko's older brother came to Japan! He has worked at Japanese restaurant now!!!
He said that Noriko also misses me soooo much!!! And she really want to meet me again near future!!!
So, I decided to travel to Greece this year :)))) And I will meet her♥♥
Now, Noriko can't speak Japanese very well, but she can speak English very well!!!
We can talk to each other in English! I must study hard every day lol

I'm looking forward to seeing her in this year. I hope that it will be true (^0^)

My plan in Japan

Hello! Today, I'm going to talk about my plan after I go back to Japan!!
I'm going to arrive at Japan on April 1st. So I'm thinking about that recently.

 First, I will go to a hair salon on April 2nd.
My hair have a lot of damage because I didn't go to there long time.
So I really want to go there as soon as possible.
I'm worrying about hair colors that are right brown, dark brown or red brown which may favorite singer has.
I checked hair magazine on Internet yesterday, I was excited when I was finding many hair styles and colors ;)
I hope that this plan will be true :-)

 Next, I will go shopping after I go to the hair salon.
I want to buy spring clothes at my favorite shops in Yokohama.
I like spring because of nice weather and cute clothes which are flower pattern and bright colors.
I always check  many shops site, and then I find what I want to.
After that, I will go to the shop. This organization is good for me because I often regret to buy my clothes.
I will buy bags, shoes, jeans, shirts and cosmetics.

 Third, I'm going to go to the Sagami university on April 3rd.
In university, we have the physical checkup at that time.
All students must go to there on time. It is very important to know our condition.
I don't want to go there because I gained weight so much :'( It is very scared lol
But I am also happy to go to the university. I can meet my friends!!!
I haven't seen them for one years. I'm locking forward to seeing them.
I think that I will go to a restaurant or a cafe with my friends after physical checkup!

 Finally, I'm going to my favorite singer concert on April 14th.
It is the best plan!!!
My favorite singers which is TOHOSHINKI are Korean! They sing and dance very well :*))
I got the tickets in Winnipeg last month. I cried a little when I saw the email in my room.
I haven't seen them for 3 years. So I was soooo happy to get it.
I can't wait to go to the concert until that day.
And I might cry when the concert stars lol

 I like making my plan every time because I'm sure that I will enjoy my life :*D
I hope that these plan will be true and fine(^o^)

My homestay

Hi my friends!!
Today, I'm going to talk about mu homestay!
I have lived a homestay about for 6 months.
I have lived with two family who are host mother and roommate who is Korean and she is also IEP student.

 My host mother is very kind to me.
When I came to the home stay, I couldn't talk to her because I'm very shy to talk to unknown person first time.
But, she asked me my hobby, family, and my hometown.
I become relaxed soon when we talked about each other.
She is from Salvador, so she can speak Spanish ;)
She likes to exercise, dancing, watching movie, and going out with her boyfriend!
She is very active :)))
I have a lot of memories in my home stay life.
One of my memories in homestay is my birthday party in Dcember.
She bake a cake which was chocolate taste and made many delicious food for me!!
I was really surprised when she showed me special denner.
And then she gave me a gift and birthday card which become my important thing.
I'm very happy to live with her in Winnipeg.
She is my second my mother!
I will miss her when I go back to Japan :'(((

 My roommate is Jisoo who is in 300.
She have lived for 4 months in home stay.
When she came to here, we didn't talke too much.
Because we didn' care each other lol
After a few months, we become good friends!!!
I'm very happy to be her friend.
We go to school together, go shoppin on weekend and talk about my self!!
I enjoy talking with her!!
Sometimes, she makes Korean food for my host mother and me.
I like Korean food so much, so I'm looking foward to eating that lol
She said she will go back to Korea in summer after she graduats a University in Russia.
Maybe we will meet again in Korea because I wil go to Korea in summer!!
I was happy to hear about that.


I really love my hot mother and my roommate.
I'm sure I will miss them when I leave Winnipeg.
So, I have to enjoy life with them :D

My part-time job in Japan

 Hi everyone;)
Today, I'm going to talk about my part-time job in Japan!
My part-time job was a bakery which has a lot of cheap and delicious bread.
I love bread more than rice, and my dream was working at bakery when I was a  child.
So, I choose this part-time job last year.

 I worked the bakery for 10 months before I came to Canada.
It was a first part-time job in my life.
I was so afraid of job when I started it first time.
I'm very shy, so I worried about coworker of the bakery.
But, all members were so kind to me!!!
They taught me how to pack the bread, make a coffee or drink, and use a register.
I was a youngest in there, so they like my older sister :))
Also, if I have questions about study, they taught me studying because they are high university students in Kanagawa prefecture.
I really respect them so much ;))

I always worked on Wednesday because one worker must helpe manager's job.
So, manager always chose me :'(((
The day, I went a supermarket then I bought vegetables, fruits, eggs and milk.
After shopping, I mixed flour and made some bread.
Moreover, I cleaned the kitchen!!!
Those were very hard work :'(
Some people don't like the manager, but I like him.
When I quit there, he gave me a present!!! lol

 There has all $ 1 bread day once a month.
Many customers come to here, and they bought much bread which cost  around $ 20-30.
I hated the day because one person must advertise bread near to the station!!!
The manager always chose me this job lol
He said 'Yoshiko! I like your voice! or  You can do it more than another coworker!'
I stood up near ticket gate, and said loud voice!
'Today is special day! All bread is $1 !!! Please come to the bakery(^0^)'
I was ashamed so much :'(

 But, I like this part-time job!
After working, I got a lot of　 bread which was unsold the day.
I could drink a coffee or juice which were also unsold.
This time was my favorite time in part-time job♥
I didn't become tired after job because of that lol

 I will work the bakery again when I go back to Japan!
I hope that I can eat new bread ♥♥

A place I will never forget

Hi!!
I'm going to talk about a place I will never forget.

 When I was a 17 years old, I went to Korean singer concert on July 4 and 5th.
Korean singer's group name is TOHOSHINKI!!
Dou you know them??
TOHOSHINKI are five handsome Korean singers.
It was a first time to go to their concert in Japan.
I didn't know them clearly, but I become their fun soon after I watched them and listened songs.

 TOHOSHINKI hoped that they hold concert at Tokyo dome!!
So, their dream became true on July 4 and 5th!!!!
Many their funs did application the concert ticket.
I was a sooo lucky♥♥
And my seat was so closed to stage!!
I could watch them everything!!!
They and I could did eye contact during the concert,,,, maybe?? lol
Nobody believe this situation :'(((
I really focused on them during the concert.

After a few months later, they separated.
I cried too much, because I couldn't understand why they decided to separate the group.
On July 4 and 5 concert was last concert for them.
The concert was called special concert by funs.

 I have beenTOHOSHINKI'fun for 3 years.
I love them so much!
They make me happy and relaxed when I watch their concert DVD and TV.
I hope that they will become together again!!!
And they will hold a concert in Tokyo dome!!!!

 I will never forget their concert in Tokyo dome!!!

My family

Hi everyone!!

Today, I'm going to talk about my family:D
My family  have 5 people who is a father, a mother, an older sister, older brother and I !!
I love my family because they support my life and give me advice when I have a problem.

 My father is an office worker in Tokyo.
He lefts home at 7:15 a.m. and he arrives home around at 10:30p.m from Tuesday to Saturday.
He likes watching TV, listening to the music and going shopping with my mother.
I'm sure he likes a mother more than children lol
When my parents and I went shopping together, he followed my mother!
So, I was a alone that time lol
In the future, I want to get marry with like my father :))

 My mother is a house keeper.
She likes watching Korean TV, and talking with her friends.
She has a lot of hobbies.
She has learned Korean food once a week because my mother and I like Korean food!!
And  she has learned Japanese traditional dance for 3years.
She acts soon if she wants to learn something.
I really like her personality♥

 My older sister works at a kindergarten.
She loves children soooo much!!!
When I talked to her, she didn't laugh about my story....
But when she talked about her students, she smiled a lot lol
Now, she misses me because I always helped her job and obeyed her.
She has a strong personality, so I have never won a quarrel in my life...

 My older brother is a house handler.
He takes care of  the many houses in country.
His job starts at 5:30 a.m.
But he couldn't get up early in the morning before he lived with together.
So, I was surprised to hear about that!!!
I haven't seen him for more than 1 year.
Maybe I will meet him this summer.

My life in Winnipeg

Hi! I'm going to talk about my life in Winnipeg.

 I have been here since April 3rd.
I really enjoyed Winnipeg life and study English in IEP every day!
Living in Winnipeg is good for me because I have learned many things.

 First, I changed my mind when I came to here.
In Japan, I lived with my family, so they supported my life, study and everything.
I always depended on my family because I'm youngest in my family.
However, I must do everything by myself. It was too difficult to me.
Before I  come to here, I couldn't cook anything, but now, I could make my break first and lunch!
My mother was really surprised when I told her about that.

 Second, I have improved my English skill for 10 months.
In April, I couldn't speak English anything.
But I can say my opinion and understand listening English now.
I'm glad to speak and understand English!!
When I was in 250, I was only Japanese student in class for one months.
The experience made me to learn English more.
And I didn't write English grammar anything in Japan.
I didn't study English grammar very well.
So I was learned English grammar by IEP teachers.
Thank you so much!!!!
All IEP teachers taught me writing and speaking English very carefully.

 Third, I have lived in a homestay for 6 months.
My host mother is very kind.
I like to talk to her during supper.
She also teaches me English when I make mistake grammar or vocabularies.
She is my Canadian mother, so I really love her.
I will miss her so much when I leave here in the end of March.


 I'm proud of my Canada life!!
It made me patient, enthusiastic and responsible.
Now, I don't have enough time to stay Winnipeg.
I don't want to think about when I go back to Japan.
So I must enjoy Canada life about for 2 months!!
I will make a lot of plan with my friends.
I hope that I will improve more English skill.

My sweet pets

Hi everyone!!
I'm going to talk about my pets♥

I have two dogs who are Yuzu and Anzu.
Yuzu means Japanese fruit name, and Anzu means also fruit name which is an apricot.
They are real family because Yuzu is a mother and Anzu is a Yuzu's daughter!!!

Yuzu looks like a cow because her fur is white and black color.
She is a fat!!
She has big eyes, short legs, a long tail, a small muth and big ears.
When I was a 12 years old, she came my house.
She was really afraid of my family because she was still 2 months.
And her legs were shaky and scared.
My family worried about her what she thinks about.
But after 15 min, she become active!!!
I noticed that she is not shy!!!
I always slept at night with her, but her body was next to my face lol

Anzu is similer to my personality.
Because she is a shy and persistent, so she attached itself to me.
Her fur is white and light brown and she is thin.
Yuzu and Anzu are very different body.
She was born on the my bed!!!
Yuzu played with a toy, then suddenly she went into labor.
After 20 min, Anzu was born!!!!
My family and I were really surprised!!!!
So Anzu and I are similar to personality...lol


Yuzu and Anzu make me happy and relaexd!!
I miss them so much!!!!!
I can't wait them to touch when I go back to Japan.

Wedding in Japan

I’m going to talk about wedding in Japan.

But, I have never attended wedding in my life.

 I don’t know it clearly, but I researched about it.

 Japan has many kinds of wedding.

But Today, I will describe Japanese traditional wedding.

It is called “Wakon”.

In Wakon, we hold a temple in this wedding.

A bride wears Kimono which is white color.

A groom wears Hakama which is black and white color.

The groom and the bride invite their parents, friends and coworkers.

Then men usually wear suits, then women wear dress which color except white.

If some woman wears white dress, bride and she are similar to clothes.

We must choose another color if you want to wear dress.

After wedding, they celebrate wedding at hotel.

They eat special dinner which is huge fish, sashimi and cake etc..

A groom and a bride read a letter and give flower for their parents.

Many people will cry this time.

And the groom and the bride’s friends show song and dance to them.

Because they are really happy to celebrate friend’s wedding.

We always make special performance.

 I really want to attend wedding near future.

I hope that my friends will get marry lol

Today, I’m going to talk about my favorite movie!!

My favorite movie is High school musical.

I think that you know this movie.

It is very famous movie in the world.

I'm sure, you can enjoy it and you will want to watch all stories.

If you haven’t watched it, you should watch soon!!

I really recommend you to watch it.

The movie is easy to understand story, because characters speak easy words,

So you can understand even it doesn’t have English subjects.

  I watched the High school musical 1 last Wednesday, so I really enjoyed it

After movie, I really want to watch High school musical 2!!

I was thinking about that I should buy it this Friday or next week

Because I didn’t have much money in my wallet, so I was thinking about that.

But I couldn’t give up to buying it next week then I decided to go to the HMV last Friday.

However, I was still thinking when I buy DVD because I really didn’t have much money in my wallet :’((((

After 40 min, I decided to buy High school musical 2!!!!!!

I noticed that I have a credit card, so I can use it ♥

Finally, I could get it!!!!

I didn’t regret to buy it last Friday.

I’m really happy now~♥♥♥

I really recommend High school musical.

Dear my best friends

 

Hi! How are you?? 

 

 I want to advice about stuying English in Winippeg because I know that you want to come to Winnnipeg in the future!!

 

 First, I recommend to live in a homestay because I had lived in a residence until August, and I have lived in a homestay since September. Both are good houses, but homestay is better than residence.

When I lived in a residence, I couldn't talk to foreigner many time because I was nervous and shy, so I coldn't say anything for forighner. And sometimes I didn't speak English all the day.Because there are many Japanese in a residence, so I used Japanese.

 In homestay, I must speak English when I talk to my host mother and my roommate. I always talk about family, friends and class with them. So I can speak English and I can improve my English skills everyday. If you want to speak English everyday, you should live in a homestay.

 

 

 Next, you should review English grammar and remenber many vocabularies before you come to Winnipeg. If you know English grammer and vocabularies, you will speak English soon. I regreted my studying English in Japan.

 

 

 Third, you should bring a laptop, medicines, Japanese snacks and many clothes.

The laptop is the most important thing because you can talk to your family, friends on skype everyday. If you don't have a laptop. you will be homesick. And we have a presentation in class, power point can help our presentation.

 

 

   And I want to tell you about weather.I think that you can't imagine winter weather. It is too cold, so you should bring a lot of warm clothes in here.  In winter, you must wear scarf, hat and gloves.

 

  Finally, I'm talking about food! You can eat Japanese food in Winnipeg because there are many Japanese restaurants. For example, sushi, tenpura, katsudon and takoyaki!! You can enjoy :-)))

United 93 Movie Discussion

1.This film was released 5 years after the tragedy. Do you believe that this film has been made too soon    after the 9/11 attacks? Why/why not?

 I think that this movie hasn't made too first because this film has released five years ago, so this movie included emotions and opinions. The producer reserched many time about 9/11. Then this movie was made by many people.

7.Why do the passengers decide to fight back? What do you think you would have done in their situation? Why?

 Because the passengers believed that they could exist on thier life if passenger helped each other.Then tha passenger decide to fight back.
I think that I also do fight back because I don't want to die and I don' want to regret that I don't do anything for terrorist. It 's really scary, but I decide to fight back. May be I will call my family before I do fight back.

8.How does the passengers’ planning and bravery affect the terrorists? Why?

 The terrorists think that the  passenger can't do anything for them, so the terrorists are very surprised the attack. Because tha first, all passenger are afraid of the terorists and they are shaking with fear, so the terrorist can't imagine that the passenger can attack them. I think the terrorist will be afraid of the passenger then they can't kill or attack any more. These planning and bravery are best action for the terrorists.

10.What do you think would have happened if the passengers had not decided to fight back?

 I think that all passengers eill be killed  by the terrorists if the passengers hadn' decided to fight back. Because the passengers are scary of them, so some passengeres are crying or screaming. The terrorists will be more angry then they will kill all passengers.

11.How did seeing United 93 change your opinion of the 9/11 attacks? Why do you think the victims’ families believe it is important for people to see this film?

  I didn't know cleary about this happning when I wached the news in Japan. When I wached United 93, I knew that it was too sceary. I couldn't see the movie sometime because I was afraid of terrorists and dangerous scean, but this movie told me 9/11 is most important day in the world.

Because 9/11 is very important day for all people, so we must know about 9/11. This movie is inportant to see. And the victims' tell us this happening will never happen again.And all people never forget 9/11.

Marching band

Hello everyone :-))))

I'm talking about my marching band life.
I beloged to tha marching band for eight years.
It made me changed my mind because before I belonged to it, I couldn't talk to many people and
didn't have self confidence.
And I wasn't enthusiastic, but I could change my personality.

When I was 13 years old, I belonged to the marching band, but I didn't want to join it because
I heard that this marching band is very hard to practice and I have to go many different city all
lessons.  But my mother said " if you pass this marching band audition,
you will get a cellephone." then I decided to belong to the marching band.

 First year, I was afraid because the marching band was hard lessons for me.
When I was late about 10 minutes, a coache was very angry.
I tolled her why i was lete, but she was still angry.
It was bad experience, but this situation made me punctual.

However, I'm proud of my marching band life.
I enjoyed practice and talking with marching band members.
And I could make many friends who are very inportant people in my life.
Then I got many experience from marching band.
I had many emotions which were happy, excited, nervous, sad sfraid when I belong to tha marching band.
These things helped me improved my habits.
I never forget my marching life.
